Who Knows What to Expect

The weather is late again, 

bringing rain instead of wine. 

She’s still dressed in her pajamas, 

too distracted by my ex-husband

to remember to change her clothes. 

Oops, there she goes, 

running off after another man. 

So much for my ex. 

She’s always changing her mind 

before she can make a decision 

to stay in one place. 

Really, she can’t remember a thing 

for more than 30 seconds. 

She’s so unreliable.
