Teeth

Tall buildings are teeth, pulverizing the skyline so that clouds can bleed the sun. 

Look out the window. At the perfect, perforated moment, purple-bruised wisps of skin drip red and pink. 

Keep the windows closed 

when you sleep, or you will hear 

tall buildings masticating midnight.
