Monday, Forget Monday

Monday, Monday, so bad for me.

I hoped to complete all my tasks,

have some wine at the end of the day.

No such luck. By Tuesday, 

the things I must do had enlarged 

to a giant much larger than task lists 

could hold. By Wednesday that giant

was wearing the clothes

in my closet and kicking

me out of my bed.

I’ll have to get rid of that list

before Friday or I’ll need to

move out of the house.
