Go Figure

I’ve never been good with figures.

My checkbook is quite a mess.

Then there’s the figure

I see in the mirror.

I find her distressing at best.

When I turn to walk away,

she shows me her worst self.

Never mind that big behind.

Cover her with a cover girl

and figure it’s for the best.
