Flowery Ripples and Jewels

1. 

Meteor showers sing through the sky,

the night ablaze with falling jewels.


2.

Sunrise slips his fingers 

through the bottoms of the curtains.


3.

I swallow your death,

spit it out as a ball.


4.

Her dress a ripple, a breezy sail

as she sashays along.


5.

Time will smooth out all our sharp edges,

if only I can wait to be worn.
