Bewildered Bees

Daffodils have jumped the fence,

trumpeting their brilliant notes.

Bees dance up the yellow throats

wondering at this new noise.

Wind helped hardy bulbs escape

from our neighbor’s garden.

They’re yelling to their family

to join them in their new home
